A wife and mother, in a house with three cats and a hamster, Julia comes from a long career as a literal and figurative cat-wrangler. She has chaired her local National Novel Writing Month chapter for nearly ten years across two states, and been involved in a multitude of projects aimed at fostering and assisting new and not-so-new writers. When she’s not writing or reading she’s finding new and inventive places to hide her ever-growing collection of yarn.

RessmanPro2Katherine Ressman–CFO and Co-Founder

She is the President of and the co-founder and CFO of Golden Fleece Press. She supports several charities including First Book-Northern Virginia and Best Friends Animal Society. She has always been an avid reader and writer. She’s wanted to publish books and magazines since high school. She edited the student-friendly Journal of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences, and read for The Literary Review.

Hawaii_007Ashley Voris–HCOS and Chief Minion

Ashley Voris has been doing customer service since she could talk. Before joining The Golden Fleece Press in 2014, Ashley worked for 10 years for a diverse range of organizations, including event management, non-profit organizations, and small start-up businesses. She brings her strong history of booth-work, event planning, and conference support to her role as Head of Customer Service. She is an animal lover and has been involved in animal rescue for 9 years and has spent many a night singing to her foster puppies until they fell asleep. She has also learned the value of not making eye contact when people near her start building a publishing company, but has happily accepted her role as Chief Minion.
